Butternut Box is committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy notice sets out our
approach to data protection and privacy, including how and why we process data that
identifies or is associated with you ("personal information"), and your rights in relation to

This notice applies to current and former employees, interns, contractors and temporary
or agency staff engaged by us ("Employees" or "you").

Data controller
Butternut Box is the trading name of Dogmates Ltd. ("Butternut Box", "we" or "us") and
is the controller of your personal information, which means we determine and are
responsible to you for how your personal information is used.
Personal information we collect about you and how we use it
Personal information we collect
We collect personal information that you voluntarily submit directly to us, such as when
you communicate with us in respect of your employment or when you fill in certain forms
at the start of your employment. This will include:
- Contact and identity information. This information includes your name, title, employee
ID number, date of birth, nationality, your contact details (e.g. telephone number, e-mail
address and home address), copies of documentation proving your identity and right to
work (e.g. passport, visa, ID card or driving licence).
- Academic and employment history. This information includes your CV, related
information and documents verifying your knowledge, skills, experience, employment
history and references.
- Employment information. This information includes your job title, department, your role
and the nature of your responsibilities, any previous roles with Butternut Box, salary,
information about benefits, your manager and management reporting structure, annual
leave, sickness absence and maternity or paternity leave.
- Performance information. This information includes assessments of your performance,
including appraisals, performance reviews and ratings, training you have participated in,
performance improvement plans, promotions, details of any disciplinary or grievance
procedures in which you have been involved.
- General information about your activities at Butternut Box. This includes information
obtained from our IT and communications equipment Butternut Box.
